There is
absolutely no doubt that Glo and Airtel Nigeria provides the best official data
plan in Nigeria. Don’t forget I said official. Etislat has introduced this Pay
As You Go plan before but it didn’t last long.
This plan is similar to the MTN Magic SIM people enjoyed for a long time. The service allows you to browse
the internet and download unlimitedly for a certain period of time for a
certain amount.
Airtel just
introduced the same service which is aimed at allowing subscribers use and
download for a certain period of time at a certain price. Just like when you
using the cyber-café to browse back in the days.
The time
based plans from Airtel includes
- 5minutes for N15
- 10minutes for N30
- 30minutes for N90 and
- 60minutes for N180
According to
them, the data length of any of these given time isn’t capped so unlimited.
So imagine
wanting to your download your favourite TV series collection or your favourite
YouTube videos for just N180 an hour, you will see the plan actually makes
sense but the upload and download speed of the network might be an issue
